A sudden cardiovascular arrest without immediate resuscitation efforts drastically reduces the victim's chance of survival within minutes. You can significantly improve a person's chances of survival with quick and easy-to-learn basic measures.

At Zollikerberg Hospital, we organise basic life support courses for external medical staff. The resuscitation courses take place at Zollikerberg Hospital or - depending on interest - in doctors' surgeries or care institutions.

In these courses, you will learn how to perform chest compressions correctly, give artificial respiration and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) safely. These measures are trained in a uniform and standardised manner worldwide. After completing this course, you will be able to perform high-quality resuscitation measures. Become part of a heart-safe system in your family, at your workplace and in your neighbourhood.
